SUBMITTALS ARE NOT CONTRACT DOCUMENTS – EJCDC

EJCDC documents have never had submittals or shop drawings as part of the contract documents. This is consistent with both the current edition of AIA documents (including AIA A201-2017) and other standard contract documents in wide use in the United States. DBIA documents do not make submittals or shop drawings part of the contract.
