Historic Kentucky courthouse restored with fire-rated glass floors
 
Constructed in 1899, the historic Fayette County Courthouse was once the shining jewel of Lexington, Kentucky, but over the years, it became old and rundown. With the help of fire-rated glass floor systems the courthouse was restored and is once again the centerpiece of the town.
The building has now been converted into a modern mixed-use office and restaurant space, with leasable event rooms in the upper rotunda.

ORDER OF PRECEDENCE CLAUSES
Order of precedence clauses are used as a type of robot for interpretations of the contract documents, and not a very smart robot, at that. These types of provisions work against the interest of the owner and the project as often as they work to their benefit. Despite their significant drawbacks, order of precedence clauses are used in construction documents all the time. Why do people love these things so much?
