Metal panels help Washington hotel meet design and budget needs
 
When plans were being developed for the new Hotel Interurban in Tukwila, Washington, the adjectives ‘modern’ and ‘contemporary’ were high on the list, given the region’s tech-focused economy. Asian and Native American references were also important, to reflect the region’s cultural heritage. A mix of fiber cement and metal panels were used to clad the building’s exterior.

STAMPS ON SHOP DRAWINGS
In the working world of pdfs and contractor “stamp pages”, I feel we have gone away from the process of stamping each page of shop drawings. We do have a copy of reviewed shops saved in the files. So the question is, should we stamp each page or is one stamp at the beginning on an 8 1/2 x 11 in. “stamp page” acceptable?
