Michael Levendusky, AIA, LEED AP, has been appointed as the design director of Taylor Design.<\/span>

Taylor Design<\/a>, an employee-owned architectural, interior design, and design strategy firm, has appointed Michael Levendusky, AIA, LEED AP, as the firm\u2019s design director.<\/p>\n

Levendusky has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, corporate, science and technology, civic, and residential projects of various sizes and scopes. He led the design for Illumina\u2019s campus masterplan in San Diego, California, and his master planning work has shaped the environment of multiple projects for the Department of Veteran\u2019s Affairs. This includes VA West Los Angeles, and new buildings at VA Long Beach. Levendusky also helped design the Cedars-Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Behavioral Health Center, both in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cMichael\u2019s work throughout his career is striking,\u201d said Taylor Design president Kevin Hinrichs, AIA, LEED AP. \u201cHis passion for creating effective, sustainable, and elegant environments will be an inspiration to our team of talented design professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to press release, Levendusky welcomes the opportunity to solve complex problems and enjoys working with a team of experts focused on a collective vision, and who can navigate complexity while also energetically envisioning and implementing innovative solutions.<\/p>\n

His passion for healthcare design is to motivate and guide teams to create extraordinary healing environments that fulfill client goals and contribute to the larger community, the firm said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring my 30-year career as an architect, I have always been interested in the design of healthy, efficient, and inspiring spaces that uniquely express each client\u2019s mission and organizational objectives,\u201d said Levendusky. \u201cI look forward to supporting Taylor Design\u2019s vision of design that empowers people.\u201d<\/p>\n
