A unique 22,000 m\u00b2 (242,187 sf) experience center for Volvo Cars and Volvo Group, featuring a timber canopy designed by the global architecture firm Henning Larsen, has recently opened.<\/p>\n

The main timber structure, made of glulam and cross-laminated timber (CLT), forms three striking tree-trunk-like columns, spreading out to carry the load of the roof\u2014enveloping visitors in a welcoming forest-like canopy.<\/p>\n

Situated in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden\u2019s event district, ample, versatile spaces are set to host cultural events, talks, and conferences, accommodating up to 1,100 attendees.<\/p>\n

The 4,500 m2<\/sup> (48,437 sf) exhibition space offers a comprehensive journey through the Swedish brand\u2019s history, present innovations, and future visions, highlighted by iconic vehicles, immersive stories, and interactive displays.<\/p>\n
