The Kaleideum Children\u2019s Museum in Winston Salem, N.C. has won the Hero of the Year Award at the 2023 EIFS Architectural Awards.<\/p>\n

Incorporating insulation by Sto Corp, an Atlanta-based materials and products company, the five-storied, 6,503 m2<\/sup> (70,000 sf) structure comprises of a design inspired by kaleidoscopic geometric forms using a wall cladding system with a textured wall finish.<\/p>\n

Sto Corp also received the Award of Merit, as well as two honorable mentions.<\/p>\n

Banner Gateway Hospital\u2019s expansion project.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Banner Gateway Hospital\u2019s expansion project in Gilbert, Ariz. received the Award of Merit.\u00a0The retailer Bloomie\u2019s project in Skokie, Il was recognized for its exterior; and 1000 Spring Street, a 30-story, mixed-use tower in Atlanta, Ga., earned the second honorable mention.<\/p>\n

The 2023 EIFS awards winners were announced in March during the 2024 EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) annual meeting in Dallas, Tex.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
