Located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Southeast Portland, this innovative residential complex, designed by Hacker, is designed to promote the well-being of its residents.<\/p>\n

The 166-unit, five-story building features a series of outdoor courtyards that invite fresh air, natural light, and greenery into each unit, allowing residents to enjoy views and connections to nature.<\/p>\n

These courtyards serve as \u201cfront yards,\u201d complete with comfortable seating, planters, and vine-covered pathways, which extend outward to become terraces with unique facade elements.<\/p>\n

The building\u2019s shared amenities include a ground-floor lounge, coworking space, fitness center, sauna, and rooftop commons.<\/p>\n

The apartment interiors are simple and bright, designed with calming colors and natural textures. Each residential unit features windows that open into the internal courtyards as well as those overlooking the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The 11,845-m2<\/sup> (127,500-sf) building\u2019s layout encourages social interaction, with exterior walkways and stairs lining the open-air courtyards. The open-air courtyards are wrapped in Western red cedar and filled with plants.<\/p>\n
