Historic Building at Heart of Downtown Austin Supports Events, Community and Sharing<\/i><\/p>\n

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Austin<\/a>—Vast<\/a>, the leader in retail automotive AI and big data, and World Class<\/a>, an Austin-based real estate holding company, announced today the opening of LZR<\/a>, an event and venue space that is part of the mixed-use office building located in the heart of downtown Austin. Vast is the anchor tenant of what was formerly known as La Zona Rosa, the world-famous music hall that featured the legendary Prince as its last act.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI jumped at the chance to be involved in presenting Austin\u2019s newest event venue,\u201d said John Price, CEO of Vast. \u201cThere is no place downtown where technology, learning and music come together like LZR.\u201d<\/p>\n

The building was rebranded and renovated in a joint project between building owner Nate Paul, CEO of World Class and Price, to re-establish the space as the epicenter of Austin\u2019s many event communities including tech and music. Most recently, continuing in its tradition of showcasing renowned talents, the building was transformed into Apple Music\u2019s 2017 SXSW<\/a> headquarters and hosted a variety of performances including The Chainsmokers, Vince Staples and Spoon.<\/p>\n

The office area of the building is currently home to Vast and the Austin office of March Capital<\/a>, a Santa Monica-based venture capital firm. The venue which includes the warehouse, lounge, bar area and landscaped outdoor patio with seating area and stage is available for rent. The 10,000 total square foot rental space is ideal for concerts, conferences and private parties.<\/p>\n
