Former president Barack Obama will be the keynote speaker at this year\u2019s Greenbuild International Conference and Expo by the U.S. Green Building Council<\/a> (USGBC). The event will take place November 19 to 22 in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Georgia World Congress Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cUSGBC is deeply honored that President Obama has accepted our invitation to speak at Greenbuild 2019,\u201d said Mahesh Ramanujam<\/a>, president of USGBC. \u201cPresident Obama is a global leader and a longtime friend of the green building community. While in office, his administration negotiated the landmark Paris Climate Accords, expanded the impact of our field, and helped open the door for energy efficiency investments in both the public and private sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n
