The standard agreements speak to the method of project delivery integrating the relationship between contractors and designers in an attempt to streamline collaboration and teamwork.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven the diversity of CSI\u2019s membership, AIA\u2019s design-build agreements present a highly desirable means of establishing project teams to meet owner performance requirements,\u201d explained the association\u2019s president, Robert W.\u00a0 Simmons, FCSI, CCPR.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The endorsement includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AIA A141-2014, <em>Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Design-Builder<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>AIA A142-2014, <em>Standard Form of Agreement Between Design-Builder and Contractor<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>AIA A441-2014, <em>Standard Form of Agreement Between Contractor and Subcontractor<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>AIA B143-2014, <em>Standard Form of Agreement Between Design-Builder and Architect<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>AIA C141-2014, <em>Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Consultant for a Design-Build Project<\/em>; and<\/li>\n<li>AIA C441-2014, <em>Standard Form of Agreement Between Architect and Consultant for a Design-Build Project<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The CSI endorsement follows a thorough review of the 2014 documents by not only the association\u2019s liaisons to the AIA Contract Documents Committee, but also the CSI Technical Committee.
