When a hailstorm and a tornado came to town on the same day, the University of Iowa’s Carver-Hawkeye Arena was confronted by a powerful competitor that damaged the 25-year-old PVC (vinyl) roof. Benchmark, Inc., was charged with designing and overseeing the installation of a durable, sustainable and long-lasting roof for the arena. Pleased with the success and results of the old roof preceding the extreme weather event, Benchmark selected a new PVC single-ply roofing membrane for the project.

Washington high school opens up possibilities with sliding doors |
|
The Northshore School District, Bothell, Washington, had to be expanded to include a new North Creek High School (NCHS) on a 25-ha (61-acre) site. The district partnered with Dykeman Architects to turn their vision of a flexible, innovative learning center for 1600 students into a reality. Single-leaf sliding doors support the collaborative culture at the school, provide space savings, daylighting, and sound attenuation. |

In my short experience, it is a common practice during construction that CD drawings (REV0) get updates shown as REV 1,2,3... But I do not have seen updates of Specbooks as REV 1,2,3...Would someone explain me what´s the correct practice? Make Specbooks reviews, or not? |
