The façade restoration of the Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options Children’s Ability Center, a place for disadvantaged children in Sunrise, Florida, has won a PaintSquare Elevation Award in the Renovation/Retrofit category. The award recognized the outstanding use of high-performance coatings to enhance the appeal of a building renovation or retrofit, in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. |

SECTION 26 27 00 LOW VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION – WHAT SECTION TO USE FOR CORD REELS? |
The popularity of cord reels continues to grow as a common solution for educational projects. Since there’s no section under 26 27 00 that is intuitive for cord reels. I maintain they are essentially an extension cord that distributes power. Hence, they should be included under Power Distribution Units, but I am not convinced designers would agree with me. Could we possibly consider adding a new section just for cord reels like we have for Indoor Service Poles?
