Reroof or re-cover?
Failures

Two options can be considered when a new roof is needed on an existing building: completely remove and replace all existing roofing materials (replacement), or install a new one over the existing roof (re-cover). Continuous insulation performance

The goals of building fire safety and energy efficiency are compatible when industry stakeholders work together to make sure proper assemblies are designed, the correct materials are specified, and installers have the experience to combine the building design and materials properly in the field. SECTION 26 27 00 LOW VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION - WHAT SECTION TO USE FOR CORD REELS
It would be nice if there was a cord reel section. Meanwhile, perhaps Section 26 05 19 Low-Voltage Electrical Power Conductors and Cables is where they should be specified. It appears that this section more closely aligns with the National Electrical Code, and as an electrician, I would expect to find cord reels in this section, and I would always expect to find them in Division 26.
