A high-performance building is one that “integrates and optimizes all major high-performance building attributes, including energy efficiency, durability, life-cycle performance, and occupant productivity.”

Massachusetts housing project utilizes high-performance windows for energy efficiency |
|
The Mason Square Apartments II at Indian Motorcycle project offers low-income residents affordable rental housing without compromising aesthetics, performance, or comfort. Part of a local area redevelopment program in Springfield, Massachusetts, the adaptive reuse and renovation project converted a former motorcycle factory into 45 apartments. The building utilized high-performance windows for energy efficiency and occupant comfort. |

SPECIFYING MASS TIMBER |
I am curious where others are specifying mass timber products? To date we have utilized a few user-generated proprietary sections based on specific manufacturer templates for 06 15 43–Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and 06 19 10–Prefabricated Dowel-laminated Timber (DLT) decking. But we have also been looking at mass plywood panels (MPP) and nail-laminated timber (NLT) decks.
