EPS insulation excels at Pikes Peak |
|
Considering the project’s high altitude and geographical location, the Summit House at Pikes Peak will experience some of the world’s most extreme weather conditions. To withstand below freezing temperatures, snow, hail, and high winds, the new structure requires heavy insulation across the building envelope. Should the contractor just ignore conflicts like this because, after all, the owner-contractor agreement references the addenda, too?

SUBMITTAL ACTION - NOT REVIEWED FOR CAUSE - A PLAUSIBLE RESPONSE? |
We are reworking our submittal procedures spec section and associated review stamp, and seeking a way to keep low priority submittals from piling up in our court beyond the allotted review period. Has anyone ever included a review stamp action: “Not Reviewed - Submitted out of Sequence,” and/or “Not Reviewed - Review Contingent on Receipt of Related Items,” or similar?
