THERMAL BREAK FOR OLD STOREFRONTS
On one of our projects, there is an existing storefront system facing due West. The owners are experiencing heat gain, and have already installed window film to help at the glass. There is no thermal break built into the frame of this old storefront system. We would like to keep the storefront system and not replace. Does anyone know of a thermal break assembly that can be retrofitted to the interior face of the storefront framing; that still has a metal finish? Is there a system with a thermal break and brake metal shape?
