THERMAL BREAK FOR OLD STOREFRONTS |
On one of our projects, there is an existing storefront system facing due West. The owners are experiencing heat gain, and have already installed window film to help at the glass. There is no thermal break built into the frame of this old storefront system. We would like to keep the storefront system and not replace. Does anyone know of a thermal break assembly that can be retrofitted to the interior face of the storefront framing; that still has a metal finish? Is there a system with a thermal break and brake metal shape?

VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLIES? |
Working with younger persons who can multi-task all day long but have not yet seen a lot of job sites; can anyone recommend a video presentation of the construction of typical wall systems? Is there a virtual presentation that would give them a general idea of how things go together? |
