Article on sustainable resilient flooring specifications featured in ebook
When specifying flooring, one should consider both sustainability and performance. They are not mutually exclusive, but rather completely integrated. Using exterior-grade waterproofing in interior applications?
Using exterior-grade waterproofing in interior applications
The use of exterior-grade waterproofing within interior space has fire- and life-safety code implications that require analysis. AUDIO OR VIDEO BASED STUDY MATERIAL FOR CCS EXAM
Does anyone know of any audio or video-based study materials for the CCS exam? I have the CSPG and I’ve been reading that, but I do really well when I have something to help me learn passively. When I took the ARE, I had a few MP3 files that were more or less a lawyer breaking down the AIA A201 and B101 contracts. I found these to be immensely helpful on both the ARE Contract Documents exam and the CDT exam. I would love recommendations for a podcast or YouTube series I could play on my headphones while doing the dishes or working.

STOREFRONT GLASS FRAME ENERGY AND BR RATED QUESTION
I am looking for a storefront glazing system that can hold BR-1 glass in one slot (center), and then a regular insulated glass unit in the second slot (interior side), as opposed to the usual one glazing slot. Is this only custom, or does a manufacturer make one “off the shelf”? I have not found U-values for BR-1 glass—any suggestions, or general knowledge for about what U-value to expect?
