Reading within the last week that building construction results in approximately 25 percent of our waste stream and that deconstruction has become a requirement in some cities, it seems appropriate to accelerate our efforts to repurpose, recycle, revitalize, and redesign some of our construction industry efforts. Any comments regarding experiences other CSI members had could well start a useful conversation on some aspects of the construction industry including the design process.
