aquaHALT is the first patented, battery-operated, automatic shut-off valve for toilets. When water is detected around the toilet bowl, aquaHALT immediately closes the water supply valve at the source stopping the water flow, without disrupting the rest of the home, building, or fixtures in the unit.

| Specifying corrosion inhibiting admixtures for concrete structures |
Corrosion inhibiting admixtures can be an important piece to this puzzle, but their selection should be made while carefully understanding the characteristics of each type. This article discusses some key considerations engineers should make first when choosing whether to use a corrosion inhibiting admixture and subsequently choosing which admixture to use.

| Sound bite: Enhancing acoustics in indoor atriums |
Indoor atriums tend to feature many sound-reflective material surfaces, creating a risk of excessive build-up of speech and activity noise. While the dialogue among activity noise, spatial volume, and material reflectivity tends to pose acoustical challenges, it is entirely possible to seamlessly incorporate effective acoustical solutions into the design.

| Tracking materials selections |
I am wondering if there is an inexpensive web-based system for project teams to easily keep track of materials selections from schematic design through DD's. Something simple to provide the estimators, engineers, architects, interior designers, consultants, specifiers, (and maybe owners), a place to see and add selections made in real-time with tracked changes. Any suggestions?
