SPECIFYING DONATED MATERIALS |
Does anyone have experience with specification writing for donated materials? The owner will furnish donated materials while the contractor will install those materials and contractor-furnished materials. Aside from using Section 01 1000 Summary to possibly document a schedule of all “Owner-furnished Products,” how would Divisions 02-14 handle criteria under Part 2 and installation under Part 3 for the respective sections that cover the donated materials?

SINTERED STONE |
Through a ‘workforce reduction,’ I am now considering new opportunities. One of those is a company that manufactures sintered stone. It can be used interior and exterior for walls, floors and ceilings and in a variety of surfaces (i.e. countertops, furniture, etc.). Any feedback on pros and cons for this material?
