Best practices for specifying resinous flooring systems |

There are some flooring chemistries that have existed in the United States for more than 15 years but are rarely specified relative to their epoxy counterparts. Urethane cements and methyl-methacrylate (MMA) have already been established as viable resinous flooring solutions for a variety of challenges. Urethane cements are one of the best solutions for resisting thermal shock from steam, grease, and other hot contaminants, while MMA can accept a fresh topcoat at any future time without requiring any mechanical preparation. |

VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLIES |
Working with younger persons who can multi-task all day long but have not yet seen a lot of job sites. The idea is we don't have time to know everything that is being built in the area and even less time to take everyone to a job site to see a wall assembly system that the next project could use. Is there a virtual presentation that would give them enough to understand what those lines in Revit represent and a general idea of how things are going together?

How interesting would it be to insert the requirement into submittals that the general contractor would be responsible to identify the subcontractor, installer, or whoever is responsible for the installation of all items identified on a shop drawing as “By Others”? |
