The 2023 CSI Foundation Annual Appeal focused on raising $15,000 to award more of these scholarships. It’s a new year, and we’re gearing up for a new conference! The 2024 CSI National Conference will be held in Houston, Tex., on October 16–18. Crosswalk from CSI makes standards digitally available right inside the software you use every day.

The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) named Mark Dorsey, FASAE, CAE, and CEO of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), as this year’s recipient of its Key Award, an annual recognition of an association CEO who shows “exceptional qualities of leadership” and “a deep commitment to voluntary membership organizations.”

CSI first sat down with Seun Olatunbosun, RA, NCARB, CSI, CDT, PMP, M.Arch, in March 2021, shortly after he earned his Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification. At the time he said, “I chose to earn the CDT to have an overall understanding of building construction, be able to write specs, understand best practice and project delivery methods, and for career advancement.”
