WARRANTY - OWNER SIGNATURE REQUIRED OR WARRANTY IS VOID
I was asked by a colleague if it’s standard practice for product warranties to require the owner to sign the warranty to make it valid. I read through this warranty and it’s pretty much standard, the manufacturer only accepts responsibility for their product and excludes all impacts not in their control. Then at the end it requires the owner to sign the warranty in order for the warranty to be valid. No signature, no warranty. Is this normal?

TENSILE STRUCTURES
Has anyone recently specified a pre-engineered tensile structure as a delegated design? I would assume if it is pre-engineered, that meant it was already delegated? Can anyone comment about recent specification or experiences with delegated design as it pertains to a pre-engineered structure?
