Figure 4: ASTM C367 enables specifiers to compare various acoustic ceiling products. As classified by ASTM E1264, Standard Classification for Acoustical Ceiling Products, the tested mineral fiber panels are Type III, Form 1, Pattern E I and the thermoformed panels are Type XX (thermoformed rigid vinyl), C E Z (shallow coffer). Test results will vary depending on the product manufacturer.
