software_Hole-Entry-Multiple-members-on-left

This screen capture from a software program shows the process of calculating hole placement in I-joist webs. Two holes have been entered into the system with a third in progress; once the process is complete, the system alerts the designer if the holes do not meet load or other structural requirements. Currently, three holes are allowed per span and new enhancements are forthcoming to allow up to six holes per span.
