Idaho’s first professional soccer stadium has opened in Garden City, transforming a former horse-racing track into a modern venue. The stadium debuted in March 2026 as the home of Athletic Club Boise’s USL League One men’s team.

Built to FIFA standards, the soccer-specific stadium will also host a USL Super League women’s team beginning in fall 2027. The venue seats approximately 7,200 fans.

“This stadium will be more than a home for our teams. It will be a hub for community events, concerts, and the next generation of soccer stars,” says Brad Stith, CEO and co-founder of Boise Pro Soccer.

Cushing Terrell led the stadium’s transformation, modernizing and expanding the existing structures. The design team added accessible spaces, upgraded amenities, and preserved key elements of the site through adaptive reuse. Plans also call for redeveloping the 27-acre Ada County-owned property into a mixed-use destination.

A range of seating options are available.

“Our biggest design focus was ensuring the structures are safe and accessible,” said Allison Clark, design professional with Cushing Terrell. “This site has a lot of history, and being able to continue its legacy while transforming it into something new through adaptive reuse is really rewarding.”

Fans can choose from several seating options, including premium seats along the west sideline, VIP suites on the north side, and the Turf Club in the southwest corner. A large scoreboard towers above the south-end supporter section, home to the River Guard, Athletic Club Boise’s dedicated fan group. Next to this section, a beer garden offers food, drinks, and gathering space. The Ford Family Zone in the northeast corner provides lower-priced game-day tickets.
