Katerra has emerged as North America’s largest end-to-end mass timber design, manufacturing, and construction firm with the capacity to produce 185,000 m3 (653,3213 cf) of cross-laminated timber (CLT) annually.
Tech-driven construction company Katerra has named Paal Kibsgaard as CEO. Kibsgaard joined Katerra in 2019 as COO and has served on Katerra’s board of directors since 2016. Kibsgaard succeeds outgoing CEO and co-founder Michael Marks.
Offsite construction company Katerra has acquired UEB Builders, a general contractor specializing in commercial and residential projects, and Fortune-Johnson (F-J) General Contractors, a construction company specializing in multifamily residential projects.
