The renovated Space Needle, 184-m (605-ft) tall, multilevel tower in Seattle, Oregon, features the world’s first revolving glass floor. Thanks to a $100-million private investment, the interiors of the 1962 World’s Fair structure have been completely reimagined. With 196 percent more glass than before, including the use of 10 varieties, designers have created an immersive adventure.

Louisiana hotel features vintage windows with modern twist

When it was time to transform New Orleans’ historic Barnett’s Furniture store into an Ace Hotel, designers wanted to maintain the 90-year-old building’s original Art Deco façade, but also upgrade the structure’s features. Building professionals selected aluminum-framed windows, designed to replicate the look of steel-framed installations popular in the early 20th century.
