Origami, a bakery in Tersane Istanbul, Turkey, transforms a compact bakery into a layered space where pastry craft and materiality meet.

The interior is organized along a strong longitudinal axis with custom-designed shelving units.

Material selection includes high-gloss, deep-toned ceramic tiles that enhance depth and amplify light. This darker shell is contrasted with mineral-textured surfaces and pale, patterned stone bases that ground the central island.

The seating zone extends the architectural palette with compact wooden chairs and mineral-finished tables.

Junctions between glass, metal, and timber are sharp. Display vitrines are frameless where possible, minimizing visual noise.
