Greenbuild 2026 to bring global green building leaders to NYC
Greenbuild International Conference + Expo 2026 will bring green-building and construction professionals to New York City from October 20 to 23 at the Javits Center, with a program focused on decarbonization, resilience, and high-performance buildings.
Produced by Informa Connect and presented by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the event will feature more than 100 continuing-education-accredited sessions and full-day summits. Technical workshops and an expo that showcases sustainable materials are also featured on the trade floor, along with building technologies and performance solutions.
This year’s theme, “Invest for Impact,” will focus on strategies to create and retrofit healthy, high-performing buildings at scale. Programming will address emerging standards, policies, and performance pathways, including New York City’s Local Law 97 and the LEED v5 framework.
CNN host and global affairs analyst Fareed Zakaria will deliver the October 21 keynote, offering a broader perspective on global trends affecting cities, infrastructure, and climate resilience.
The event will also provide networking opportunities for contractors, engineers, architects, owners, developers, manufacturers, policymakers, and sustainability professionals from more than 60 countries.
