NAC Architecture has worked with Beck Cabinet Company on assorted competitively-bid projects for at least a decade. In 2023, Beck reached out to the Woodwork Institute about a project that required certification through Woodwork Institute’s Certified Compliance Program (CCP). On that project, they were challenged to demonstrate compliance with the North American Architectural Woodwork Standard (NAAWS) regarding the standard method they use to assemble their cabinet bodies. They succeeded in demonstrating the method would meet the job requirements and the project was certified. Beck Cabinets has since become a Woodwork Institute Affiliate and promotes certification to its customers.

NAC Architecture requires CCP on all of its projects. Certification ensures adherence to the NAAWS and the project specifications before fabrication begins. Collaboration between the Woodwork Institute’s regional Architectural Services Representatives, the woodworkers, installers, and architects assures quality through certification!
