Figure 8: This photomicrograph was collected in a classroom where the teacher was complaining of upper respiratory system issues. 
It shows particles collected from surfaces beneath a mineral fiber ceiling. The ceiling contained glass and paper fibers, epoxy binder, and a calcite mineral filler. Fiber exposure and health complaints dropped significantly after ceiling was replaced.
