CONSTRUCT 2017 and the CSI Annual Convention, which will take place September 13 to 16 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, has issued a call for educational presentation submissions. The event offers more than 40 accredited sessions spread across balanced exhibit hall hours.
These educational sessions are intended for professionals with skills and interests in various areas of the building industry, including but not limited to designers, builders, specifiers, and engineers. Professionals in any sector of the industry are likewise invited to submit session proposals, provided they possess in-depth knowledge of their chosen topic and are capable, engaging presenters.
Submissions must be nonpromotional and feature information that is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable in the actual workplace. Although seminars focusing on a wide range of topics are being sought—including those discussing technical-, design-, and business-related concerns—all must have a theme of realistic and applicable problem-solving.
“Our goal for 2017 is to increase the level of audience engagement with more interactive sessions presented by a broader variety of industry professionals, from specifiers and code enforcement officials to architects and manufacturers,” said Jennifer Hughes, the event’s Education Manager. “We encourage professionals from all areas of the industry who can offer timely, engaging, and practical content to submit a proposal.”
Each person may submit up to three proposals. All submissions must be made by January 9, via automated form.
