Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) has recently begun construction on a new Government Center building for Dallas County.

The project will feature a two-story, 3,623-m² (39,000-sf) office building with extensive on-site and off-site improvements.

The East Dallas Government Center will accommodate several Dallas County departments, including the Constable, Juvenile Probation, Justice of the Peace Court, Passport and Facilities, as well as offices for District 1 Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel.

The building is designed to enhance the County’s ability to deliver efficient services to residents and provide a modern working environment for county employees.

The project team is targeting a LEED Silver Certification and will have a solar energy installation capable of powering the entire facility.

The project is set for completion in summer 2026.
