A new campus hub is taking shape at Campbell Hall in Studio City, Calif., with space for everything from high-energy athletic competition to hands-on learning and community collaboration.

C.W. Driver Companies broke ground recently on The Holiday Center, with completion expected in 2028.

The project will add athletic, fitness, dining, and educational spaces designed to serve the school’s 1,150 students.

The new facility will bring several campus functions under one roof. At its center, an expansive dining hall will feature a larger kitchen for preparing healthy meals. Indoor-outdoor seating will give students more room to gather, socialize, and enjoy Southern California’s mild climate year-round.

Athletics will anchor another major component of the project. The renovated Garver Gym will include a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) regulation-sized gymnasium with seating for 800 spectators. A flexible floor plan will allow two to three practices to take place simultaneously. Spacious, modern locker rooms will round out the expanded athletic facilities.

The Holiday Center will also support academic programs and community engagement. A multipurpose Idea Center will provide space for student- and faculty-led projects and public partnerships. Additional flexible-learning classrooms will accommodate changing instructional needs as technology evolves. The project will also add a dedicated elementary school music room and a dance studio.

C.W. Driver will use a phased construction approach to minimize disruption to daily campus life. The contractor will coordinate work with school operations as classes move to different areas of campus and temporary learning spaces accommodate students and faculty.

The approach will allow Campbell Hall to continue its educational programs while construction advances.
