Plastic Components' Gray Ultra-Lath® is a lightweight, non-corroding 1/8" plastic tile underlayment. Perfect for interior tile floor or stone applications, it's easier to use than metal lath, pliable and easy to cut. Made of non-corroding alkali-resistant plastic with high compressive strength... its also unaffected by salt, moisture and harsh chemicals in tile-setting products.
Ultra-Lath can be used in most interior residential floor installations over plywood subfloors – or over properly prepared and approved existing vinyl flooring – over substrates meeting approved criteria.
An added benefit of Plastic Components' Ultra-Lath is its compatibility with most electric radiant-heated floor systems.
