The seventh edition of the Florida Building Code (FBC) was recently released for review and now references American Concrete Institute (ACI) 562-19, Code Requirements for the Assessment, Repair, and Rehabilitation of Existing Concrete Structures and Commentary.
The American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI) are partnering to increase design efficiency of structural post-tensioned concrete structures. While the two organizations and their members have worked collaboratively for decades, this partnership formalizes efforts through the new joint ACI-PTI Committee 320, Post-Tensioned Structural Concrete Code, ACI said.
Due to local, state, and federal regulations, and to protect the health and safety of attendees, the American Concrete Institute (ACI) is transitioning the ACI Concrete Convention from an in-person event in Raleigh, North Carolina, to a fully virtual event. The ACI Virtual Concrete Convention will be held from October 25 to 29.
