A new Pittsburgh development has transformed a former movie theater into a 7154 m2 (77,000 sf) Class-A office space.
SomeraRoad, alongside architectural partner HOK, has completed an adaptive reuse of the former SouthSide Works Cinema. The ‘Box Office’ project has transformed the former movie theater with modern interiors, surrounded by natural light and outdoor spaces.
The project includes a 650 m2 (7000 sf) open lobby, complete with a grand staircase and open verandas, and a 158 m2 (1700 sf) private outdoor patio. The neighborhood has access to biking and walking trails, food and beverage retailers, grocery stores, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, outdoor amenities, and Carson Street.
