DEXcell FA® Glass Mat Roof Board is engineered to enhance durability and performance in adhered roofing assemblies where moisture resistance, bond strength and long-term reliability are essential. Designed for use in single-ply and multi-ply systems, DEXcell FA panels provide a smooth, stable substrate that helps protect roofing membranes and insulation layers below.
Key performance features include:
Enhanced moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum core for improved durability.
Heavy-duty coated glass mat facers on both sides for easier handling and increased strength.
Sealed-surface facer technology that improves adhesive coverage and bond strength, helping reduce adhesive usage and, in some assemblies, eliminate the need for a field-applied primer. Consult the system manufacturer for actual priming requirements.
DEXcell FA® Glass Mat Roof Board functions as a substrate board, thermal barrier and coverboard, contributing to improved fire performance while supporting membrane attachment and overall system integrity. Its rigid construction helps resist damage from equipment maintenance activity and foot traffic during installation.
