SmartSeam® suspended cover is installed below the roof deck and below sprinkler heads. It is classified to UL® 723S for installation below fire sprinklers and it meets the standards of NFPA 13.

Smart Seam® features:

·     Specifically sized, flame resistant, reinforced polyethylene panels sewn together.  

·     Heat-reactive seams connecting each panel, that when triggered by the temperature of a fire, allow the seams to open and enable the sprinklers to function properly.

·     Reinforced borders along the edges of SmartSeam® give it the capability to easily attach to vertical walls for the proper sealing of a temporary suspended ceiling.

·     A dust cap over each stitched, heat-reactive, seam to prevent dust, dirt and debris from filtering through and creating contamination.

·     Antimicrobial, Antistatic, Flame-Resistant. USA made.
