After reviewing several methods and systems, Jonathan Tallman, regional public safety director for Chicago-based architects Dewberry and project manager for the Glen Ellyn police station project concluded new advancements in masonry wall systems were ideal for the new station.

The state-of-the-art expansion seeks to strengthen relationship to the community, deepen its educational impact, increase indoor and outdoor capacity by more than 1858 m2 (20,000 sf), and enhance visitor experience.
The New York-based firm OMA and Chicago-based KOO has been named the winner of an international competition to design an innovative ‘Center for the Arts’ on the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) campus. The center will serve as a gateway between UIC and the world and as a destination for innovative arts and cultural production.
Studio ORD has been selected to design the new O’Hare Global Terminal and Global Concourse in Chicago. The city will now enter into contract negotiations with Studio ORD, a joint venture comprising Corgan Associates, Milhouse Engineering and Construction, STL Architects, Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates, and Studio Gang.
